Björn Again were founded in Melbourne Australia in 1988 by John Tyrrell and Rod Leissle, who jointly own the Björn Again trademark and manage the band’s interests globally.

John has been the band’s manager from the outset and is credited with building Björn Again from the initial idea into an international touring act and the most successful tribute band of all time.

John is based in Melbourne managing BA’s Australian-Asia-Pacific interests, whilst Rod resides in London managing the band’s UK/European interests.

Björn Again have performed over 5000 shows in over 70 countries, and at present have up to 5 simultaneously touring lineups.

Björn Again are recognised as one of Australia’s most successful music exports, and are the only ABBA show endorsed by Benny and Björn of ABBA.

Björn Again’s first ever show was on May 6th 1989, so this year is Björn Again’s 20th Anniversary year.
